March 18, 2020 Update

As we closely monitor the impact and spread of COVID-19, Ambank Company is taking action to further reduce traffic in our offices. We will continue to conduct business at our physical bank and insurance locations, but until further notice our doors will be locked for visitors throughout the day.  If you have an urgent need to conduct business on site, please make an appointment before visiting one of our offices.  For customers with scheduled appointments, they will be screened before they are allowed inside. Our drive thru lanes will operate as normal. We trust you’ll understand that these are simply precautionary measures we’re taking to protect the safety and security of our customers and employees.

 

We continue to encourage you to take advantage of the bank’s digital services, ATMs, and drive thru lanes. In addition, our insurance offices are staffed and available by phone or Perspective 24/7. We understand that these are unusual circumstances, and we’re committed to working with you as the situation evolves. Thank you for your patience and loyalty.

As of Wednesday, March 18, 2020, we are highly encouraging limited traffic in our offices. We ask that you make appointments in advance, and if you need to conduct your day-to-day business, please take advantage of our drive-up lanes, ATMs, and digital services like our mobile apps or online portals. We will proactively contact customers who require timely service, such as mortgage closings, loan signings, and cash insurance premium payments. We understand that these are unusual circumstances, we’re committed to working with you as the situation evolves, and we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Through our ASB Mobile application, you can do many daily tasks such as:

  • View your account balances
  • Deposit Checks remotely
  • Pay your bills through our free Bill Pay service
  • Transfer money between your accounts
  • View your Online Statements

Through our Perspective 24/7 mobile application or online portal, you can:

  • View your ID Cards
  • Contact your agent remotely
  • View your policies
  • Request Changes and more!

March 13, 2020 Update

How we’re responding

We have enhanced our cleanliness protocols to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Employees are regularly cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and high-touch areas, like teller stations, door handles, and restrooms. Hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes will be available for customer and employee use at every location.

 

How you can help

In order to create a safe and clean environment, we have asked all of our employees to take the following precautionary measures, and we urge our customers to do the same:

  • Wash your hands frequently with warm, soapy water for at least 20 seconds
  • Stay home when you are sick, and remain at home until you are free of symptoms for at least 24 hours
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth, as these are areas where a virus can enter your body
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all frequently touched surfaces
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Cover your mouth with tissues whenever you sneeze, and discard used tissues in the trash

 

How to proceed

We strongly encourage you to use American State Bank’s and Perspective Insurance’s digital tools and other resources for self-service banking and 24/7 access. You can access your banking accounts online at ambankiowa.com or through our ASB Mobile app. From there, you can make payments through Bill Pay, view transactions, make transfers, deposit checks, and more.
